Admission profile:
For a future student of the Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, it is advisable to have an attitude of helping people. A comprehensive vision capable of relating and relating to all dimensions of the human being. Have an ideal disposition for teamwork, continuous, reflective and critical study, continuous adaptation to change and management of situations with great physical and emotional burden. In addition, responsibility, balance, personal maturity and good health are required.
The student who wishes to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing must have skills that allow him or her to skillfully integrate and manage the knowledge acquired during the training period.
Additionally, it would be recommended:
- Motivation when choosing a degree.
- Good oral expression skills in Spanish and Galician.
- Analysis capacity.
- Synthesis capacity.
- Leadership.
- Search capacity in bibliographic sources.
- Awareness of the need for continuous training throughout life.
- Sufficient knowledge of biology, statistics, physics and chemistry.
- Comprehensive reading.
- Basic computer knowledge (user level).
- Ability to read and write in English.
In the Autonomous Community of Galicia, the CIUG (Interuniversity Commission of Galicia) manages the process of access to undergraduate university education of the Galician University System (SUG), made up of the universities of A Coruña, Santiago and Vigo, complying with the principle single district.
No additional tests are established for access to the degree in Nursing, access being limited only to what is established by the CIUG.
